Vacationing in Topsail

At around 6pm tomorrow, I will be on my way to my first vacation in about three years, and the first one out of the state of Maryland in a decade. I did go to Cape May, NJ back in the winter, but that was more of a trip/getaway than a vacation.

I absolutely love traveling, going to new places, and the beach. So you would think that I would go regularly, but that's not the case. You always have to have the right circumstance to go on vacation. You need the time, the money, and the people to go with. I've always had at least one, but never all three.

It is hard to go to the beach when one of your best friend hates the beach. It is also hard to go on vacation if you don't have free time or the money to pay for the expenses. There were times when I had the money, but didn't have the time. There were even times when I had the money and the time, 2 out of 3, but my friends and family didn't have the time or money. Now I have all the time, but non of the money.

Well this coming week, all that will change. I'm going to Topsail, NC with some of my closest friends for an entire week. And the best part about it, one of my friend family owns the place that we will be staying at, so expenses are pretty much paid for, except for food and gas.

The pictures I've seen from there look absolutely beautiful, I'm a little disappointed that I won't have a DSLR with me, but I'll make due with my point & shoot.
